Breaking Origin for a better future
This is a very special beer for all of us. The name, indicative of breaking the past and what better way at the end of our first year of brewing, than with a big beautiful beer, this year gave us the opportunity to brew in our own brewery, with no restrictions on ingredients or design and who we choose to work with.
The artwork for this beer comes from a very talented local artist Paul Bennett and we are genuine fans of his epic work. This piece is called Langdale Dawn, his vision of the moody and ever changing landscape in a stunning part of the Lake District. It couldn’t be more perfect for this complex dark beer.
Which brings us to the beer itself, a multi layered, sumptuous imperial stout, indulged with chocolate, coffee, tonka and coconut, sitting at a comforting 10.5%. Sit back and enjoy this beer, savour its changing layers as it warms and breaths.
